Source: flipflopflyballThis is hilarious! What if?!
What if the New York owners decided each others’ towns.
No McCovey Cove, no Willie Mays Plaza, probably no Barry Bonds (since his godfather influenced his signing), no Orange Fridays. *GASP! With no Barry Bonds, there’s no AT&T Park! The park that Bonds built. With no AT&T park, the San Francisco Dodgers would have had to been moved to Tampa Bay back in 1993. This is so perplexing.
What would be kind of cool is that the Brooklyn Dodgers got their name from the kids that dodged trolleys. San Francisco Cable Car Dodgers.
San Francisco Dodgers, huh? So crazy.
If things had been just a little different in 1958. http://www.flipflopflyin.com/flipflopflyball/info-lagsfd.html
